Lake Waskesiu

(Pronounced WAH-SKA-SOO)

Looking for a complete holiday of sun, fun, and relaxation? Look no further than Waskesiu!  The park abounds with nature and its habitants — Elk, moose, deer, black bear, red fox and many bird species are a common sight in the park. The beaver, protected and acclaimed by the famous Grey Owl, are still a park favorite and the beaver is now used as the park emblem.

Things To Do

Excellent fishing can be found in the many lakes within the park boundaries. Northern Pike, Walleye, Perch, Whitefish, and Trout are the most common species to lure both the beginner and most avid fisherman.

The Waskesiu Golf Course, home of the “Lobstick”, offers a scenic challenge to all golfers and is renowned throughout Western Canada.

Other recreational activities offered are tennis, lawn bowling, trail rides, movies, hiking, boating and swimming.Nature trails afford the hiker a first hand look at the beautiful flora and fauna found in the area.

Cancellations made with less than 30 days notice will result in complete forfeiture of payment. Cancellations with more than 30 days notice will be refunded less a $50 cancellation fee. Partial cancellations will not be accepted. Full payment is required at the time of booking.
